Filler Clean Room With HEPA Filtration System

Beverage manufacturers are coming out with new drinks and brands every week. Some of which require more sensitive handling and require clean room packaging.

WORLD PACKAGING COMPANY design and install clean room packaging and filling areas to meet environmental requirement of the beverage manufacturer’s product handling demand.

Clean rooms are classified per Federal Standard FS209E. While general food packaging areas are not currently classified, nutritional drinks, energy drinks, bottled water and fruit juice handling may require Class 100,000 to Class 10,000 (ISO class 8 and 7 respectively).

The clean room is designed with positive pressure which is slightly higher than the adjacent room or general manufacturing area. Air is introduced via a positive ventilation system fan equipped with 0.3 micron and 99.9% efficiency rating. For a more demanding manufacturing process, an optional air purifier/ionizer further reduce contamination.

The HEPA control system is available with a stand-alone control station or integrated within the filler room control PLC when possible.

Standard equipment;

• Controls are housed in NEMA 4X watershed panel, meet or exceed UL, NSF industry standard.
• HEPA filters on air in and air out 0.3 micron @ 99.9 % efficiency
• LED 4’ light fixtures for food processing facilities application, wet environment IP67 rating.
• Electro-polished 316 stainless steel blower with stainless steel washdown rated motor.
• Airflow monitor and differential pressure monitor.
