Infeed Gear Box Conversion

World Packaging Company, Inc. has specifically designed this conversion with precise bottle handling in mind. Teamed with our Belt Drive Conversion, our system perfectly synchronizes the infeed conveyor and the worm Screw to the rotation of the filler. This allows the bottle to line up perfectly when entering the filler. By implementing this system, we have also minimized the amount of backlash in the worm screw, again adding to the bottle handling efficiency. We have also added a new Safety Clutch to help minimize damage and down time when and if bottle jams occur when running glass.

With special brackets we have reduced, almost in half, the amount of time it takes to change over products and make final adjustments. The old system requires all sprockets and chains be adjusted. Our system allows you to make adjustments without disassembling the infeed system. By eliminating nine sprockets and the matching chains associated in the gearbox, it simply takes less time and less manpower to make the changeovers, while lowering maintenance costs. Again this conversion has been designed to be installed in the field to avoid unnecessary down time.
